My name is Ekaterina Kilde aka Katflight, and I’m a contemporary artist originally from Moscow. I have been participating in exhibitions since 2010, showcasing works across a range of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. My artistic journey spans multiple styles and directions, guided by a continuous curiosity and a deep emotional connection to the process.

Over the years, I’ve developed a diverse portfolio by blending techniques and often creating entirely new ones. For me, art is both a deeply personal exploration and a way to connect — with the viewer, with nature, and with the inner world.

My work reflects a vision — a vivid image that appears to me at a particular moment and insists on being brought to life in full detail. As I paint, that image shifts, grows, and comes alive. I aim to translate what I see in my mind as precisely as possible onto the canvas, while allowing the process itself to guide unexpected changes.

I don’t limit myself to a single style or subject.

I enjoy experimenting with texture, layering, and unexpected color combinations. I often work intuitively, allowing the painting to evolve organically. Through this process, I discover not only new artistic techniques but also new ways of seeing the world.

My goal is simple but meaningful: to multiply joy — to create works that bring visual pleasure and a sense of delight to those who experience them.
